What colors should I paint a tiny, small enclosed stairway and hallway?
Our stairway is very tiny, with very low ceilings that I can touch on the way up. The ceiling and walls of the stairway and entire hallway are all a dark brown color. It is very dark and looks very tiny. We are wanting to make it look larger. But unsure how to balance it out. Should we paint the ceilings a different color than the walls, or make it all the same? Was thinking light neutral colors or would white work best?? Any ideas/suggestions would be great :)

If it were me, I'd go with white. It will reflect light well and give the appearance of a larger area.
If you have the room for it on a wall, you could hang a mirror to give the illusion of added space,also.

on the top of the stairway there is a small landing, there is are 2 windows on the left, and a wall right in front of you, and the hall goes right....so maybe a mirror at the top of the stairway??
it wouldn't look too washed out the the ceilngs and walls all white?? My fiance and I have been debating this all day, lol
Yes, that does sound like a good spot for the mirror.
You can give pops of colour with the curtains and frame of the mirror, maybe a small rug on the landing or other small items on the walls.
