For each gallon of gasoline that you burn in a nonhybrid car or truck, you release about 25 pounds of carbon dioxide gas. If you drive a car that gets 10 miles per gallon, and you drive an average of 50 miles per day (pretty typical), how many pounds of CO2, would you release in one year? How much would this be reduced (what percent) if you bought a car that gets 45 miles per gallon?

I do not know, nor do I care.

What I do know you will FEED a LOT MORE TREES, that will produce MORE O2, the OXYGEN we need to survive on earth, by driving the vehicle that produces MORE CO2.   ;-)
