Hope you picked a nice senior nursing home near a school-- That way your little one can come visit you on his/her tricycle  going to and from kindergarten.  :)

Congrats Daddy-o! A buddy here is 68 and has 10 kids ranging in age from 18 months to 29 years including a set of twins and a set of triplets!He's the "youngest" 68 year old I've ever seen!Keep yer chin up and keep smilin'!!

I had one when I was 80. Just as well he didn't look like me.

During a hospital stay, there was a woman 63 down the hall from me who gave birth. Everyone was amazed, nurses included.

Some people are healthier than others.  Your body must be in good balance.  Take care.  Enjoy this adventure.

Congratulations.Hope things work out ok with it all but for me now Im more interested in the idea of maybe becoming a Grandma

My grandma had her first and only baby when she was 43. Then, 6 months later, her huband died of kidney disease   :-(

Your child will likely live longer than you. The older you are when you have children the next generation lives a little longer. If the practice of having children in old age is accepted culturally we could all look  forward to having bodies that last for perhaps a thousand years or more in good health.
