          All my favorites are on their backs.  I don't really like any comedian that can't be funny without a 4 letter word.  With ONE exception, Richard Pryor-- And he's on his back too

            Yes, George died too. What I am saying is that we had comedians/comediennes that were funny and never once said a curse word. Today it's just about opposite, there's no comedian that can make it through a skit without a foul word or insulting someone or some ethnic group. I do pay homage to Richard Pryor though, I guess that makes me a hypocrite - But he was popular during my 20's and I had a different view then and he was the catalyst that changed the world of standup comedy as it is today, but that doesn't mean I agree with it. Richard was one of a kind, now today they are all copycats but they are not even close to Pryor's talents. IMO

                I like Norm MacDonald, Jim Carrey, Ron White...there's a lot of good ones out there. I just can't think of their names at the moment.

                    I thought Joan Rivers was good in her hay day . So was Rosanne as a stand up . I just didn't like Joan R. making fun of the queen.
