I wish I could see their backs. This is bugging the fire out of me. I must know the answer. Most folks when first looks at it thinks it's a caterpillar. They are so sweet and by them huddling together makes me think it is cold¿?

Where do you live-generally??? I might be able to figure it out.  Also, do they stay all year?  Do they come in the Spring and leave in the Fall?  Do they only Winter with you?  Or do they show up for a short period in the Spring and Fall (you would be a stopping place on their migratory flight path)?

They are very beautiful!  I know I've spoken to one before-just can't remember where...I'll show the picture to the birds around here and see if they can tell me a thing or too.

I think the poor little things are "Stuffed !My wife promised me that!!

That is a good guess dowsa.  I will revisit the Tits.  They do come in different colors.  I just don't know.  I found this picture on Pinterest.  I liked it and pinned it then several people asked what kind they are and I am clueless.  I tried to look them up and I don't think they are American.  I spent hours combing through bird pictures and the closest I came in coloring was the hummingbirds.  I have never seen a hummingbird flock and it looks too big.  So I have put the question out there, "What kind of birds are they and where do they live?"  Thanks to the replies now help come up with an answer.

Their tails look something like a swift.

    dowsa

Yes makes them go faster ( swift )

I think they are amongst the most beautiful birds Ive ever seen, certainly not from this neck of the woods
