I have some concerns about my computer's compacity or how much I can down load things without
my computer's hardware crashing. How much can a computer's hardware take before it crashes?
My computer is old about I'd say six to seven years old & it is a Compaq Computer,I will admit I've been dow loading lots of You Tube Videos who I subscribe to. How safe is this? Thanks!

Get a back up hard drive to put all those videos on. Cheaper than a new computer. Go to your good computer store and talk to a knowledgeable person about the back up hard drive. Tell him/her you want good price and lots of storage. You will also be able to move all the videos in your computer now over to the back up hard drive. Store all videos on this. It will be like a video library for you. They are easy to install and use. Have the sales person explain it all to you. If you can get a Western Digital, they have good phone support.

HI IF YOU HAVE AN OLD COMPUTER IT PROBABLY HAS A SMALL CAPACITY HARD DRIVE
AS YOU ARE DOWN LOADING INFORMATION WHICH REQUIRES LARGE AMOUNTS OF MEMORY STORAGE CAPACITY EG VIDEO'S PHOTO'S ETC , THIS OVERLOADS YOUR COMPUTER, SO IT WILL SHUT DOWN
THE ANSWER IS TO UPGRADE, EITHER YOUR PRESENT COMPUTER WHICH FROM MEMORY, THE COMPAC ISN'T UPGRADABLE, SO A NEW COMPUTER IS REQUIRED
HOPE THIS HELPS
