First, you have to read the literature properly,  then you have to find out what the coined phrases are, then you have to judge the use of the language and what methods of writing have been used, whether idiomatic, olde English, get details on the era and whether the phrases used match the era, whether it has "simile's, paradigms, Synecdoche, idioms, etc. Target the audience, if it is for a school project, don't go overboard with too much literary criticisms, state whether you like it, and why. Give some of the  story line and why you chose those phrases as appropriate.Don't be too verbose, people get these reviews all the time, so you must use phrases that make it readable by the general public thus it won't be on the shelves unread. Stick to the number of words as well, as requested by the university or school, or literary group.
