What Is Acupuncture ?
Acupuncture is a technique of manipulating the thin, solid needles that have been inserted into certain points (Acu-points, also call Qi-point) in the skin and sub-skin soft tissues with the aim of relieving pain and other illness for therapeutic purposes.
Acupuncture is one of the keystones of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) originating in ancient China at least 2500 years ago.
According to TCM theory, stimulating these points can smooth the flow of Qi and correct imbalances in the flow of qi through channels known as meridians.
Modern studies have revealed that Acupuncture can let our body to release certain endogenous chemicals material (It just likes medicine. such as: Endorphin, dynorphin, Enkephalins and other Neurotransmitters) to regulate our “self-healing system” and the associated organs since we have about 75 trillion cells that most of them can create and release endogenous chemicals material. Maybe you don’t realize that our body release “endogenous medicine” every second.
