    There was a majority of 56 Senator that did vote for th bill, more than half, but 60 votes are needed to end debate. 


    Several Democrats Senators the DID vote for the bill but all that did NOT vote where Democrats and they should be defeated in the next election. IMO


    The energy Department was created to get the US off foreign, but the Department since its inception has been doing the opposite.


    Governor Perry, like Reagan were right, we should get rid of the Department of Energy.  It has been useless.
