I don't see the connection; wars tend to last way longer than many marriages nowadays.
In your case, if your marriage is filled with bullet dodging, strategic plans to get away for a few hours, and constant stress, lack of sleep, and discomfort....perhaps you should throw in the towel, wave the white flag, sign a peace treaty, and get a bachelor place where you can recover from PMSS, which is obviously "post marital stress syndrome".
Reviewing your Qs and As on this site, you might need a while longer to boot camp your way to being "combat ready".
And, one last thought.....A marriage is a partnership...two people on the same side, working toward the same goals, with similar values and morals. Quite the opposite of war.
