OxyContin withdrawal can be a painful process, particularly after heavy use. Symptoms are similar to heroin withdrawal and may include sweating, heart spasms, increased blood pressure, nausea, dehydration, abdominal cramps, trembling, weakness, muscle ache, diarrhea, vomiting, restlessness, leg spasms, insomnia, and mood disturbances such as irritability and thoughts of suicide. If you are going to withdraw from this drug, do it under medical supervision.

If you are able to detox and get yourself away from that garbage...for your sake I hope this is a lesson learned in staying away from that crap. I honestly do. I hate to see someone screw their life up with that garbage. Good luck!

Pease consult your doctor- especially if s/he has been writing Rx oxycodone for you. here are non-narcotic meds that can help ease the withdrawal effects...your doc. may be able to Rx a small amt. of these meds. to help you. If you do not live with anyone you need to have a (clean) friend or relative check in on you frequently.

What ever you do, don't stop taking the pills suddenly . You can get really messed up that way . Ween yourself off them gradually.....untill you've taken the last 1/4 of the last tablet. I've even seen Drs cut off people abruptly from oxycontin.....I saw one Dr. to that to an old lady who I knew. It messed her up.
