Randy, the fact it got answers does not mean there's nothing wrong with the question. "How can I f* good" will get a lot of answers too but that would also not mean there was nothing wrong with the question.

It's not the question as you well know, it's the agenda, this is what people are having issue with.

I wonder why a person who claims to be a Christian would lie in front of all these people by telling them that you will no longer ask religious questions.

I have been in a few crashes….mostly auto and I found it to be peaceful and calming to be hurdling toward what looked like certain death and then to my surprise and delight surviving without injury. The vehicles were demolished but I was unscathed. I know I am in God’s hands all the time. Why worry?

I have to say, I would probably be like you. I do not fear death and I know that whatever happens in my life, it's meant to happen. When I had my motorcycle accident, I knew I was going down and I had only one thought and that was, "sh*t this is going to hurt". Then I hit the pavement, sliding f o r e v e r and finally stopped. I lay there wondering if I was dead because it was so quiet then I heard voices and the sound of running feet and someone saying "lie still" and I knew I was alive. I was never scared. No life flashing before my eyes or anything, just acceptance of 'what will be, will be'.

I'd curse god for causing this inevitable tragedy (or at least preventing it from happening) knowing full well that it would cause immeasurable pain to countless innocent friends,spouses and children.

It's one thing to get a free pass on tragedies that can be blamed on human personal choice or "free will" but Acts of God such as this MUST be the work of He alone, if we are to believe His followers who incessantly tell us that He knows and controls all.

And if god is credited with safe landings he must be held responsible for the screw ups. I guess what you're saying is that god screws up significantly less often than he succeeds. That would make him pretty good but far from perfect.

@Bob. You would be correct if the action I described was the one I would act out.I was merely responding to what I and evidently many others interpreted as a leading question.
But it IS an interesting question. I can only guess but it certainly wouldn't be cursing someone I don't believe in. There are plenty of real people I know that would make a better target. Good point though,Bob.
