Even tho I believe the most important thing kids can learn in school is the read, write and learn math, cultural exploration is important.  Cultural exploration is needed because there are so many different types of people in the world.  And nothing beats ignorance for getting ignorance thrown back at you for sayig or doing something stupid to another person.  The more we learn about each other the less prejudice we are when we grow up, the better we get along, the better world we might inherit.

I think cultural exploration is very important!  Allowing kids to know that the cultures may be different then they are used to but they are all good people and differences make friends more fun!  The K-3rd graders should be taught about the different cultures and languages in a fun and interactive way (tasting the foods, learning how to say hello etc).
