Did you report them as stolen? You will need a police report explaining how they were stolen from you. This might be hard to prove as a lot of people sell the pills or trade them off for other things like cigs, alcohol , food, favors of some sort.

My doctor sends scripts from her computer right to the pharmacy. I didn't know they are still writing out scripts by hand anymore. Call your doctors office and ask what you need to do.

It probably depends on the nature of the prescription, and how many times that doctor has heard that story before. Your story might be legitimate, but you are apt to get lost amongst the many that are not.

It is inappropriate too accuse someone stealing your prescription, you mean too say that you loss them rather, or forgot where you put them!
