    Anywhere instead of " nowhere".

No one is going anywhere until the work is complete.

why? Anywhere vs nowhere. I felt that much, but I need to know why.

Colleen, sorry. My links are not opening, but that is the fault of internet, its where I get them from.

Nobody is going nowhere until the work is done.
Think about what you want to say differently. ...."Everybody stays here til the work is done", for example.
What "nobody is going nowhere" actually means is "everybody, or at least SOMEBODY,  is going somewhere".
When you "double negative" (nobody and nowhere) you mean the opposite.
It's like saying, "I don't have no pencil."   Well, if you don't have "no pencil", that must mean you DO have A pencil.
