    what is the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 45mm?

    3.142 X 45 = 141.39mm

    Or, take a compass, measure and open it to 45mm and draw a circle. then take a string around the circle until it meets. measure string with tape measure and you got your answer. check to see if it is the same as the formula answer. I'll bet it is.
