It is not an easy thing to do, but for sure, do not use alcohol or drugs in an attempt to ease the pain. You could end up with a problem, more serious than a broken heart! My suggestion would be to take this opportunity to begin something new (not a relationship) in order to get your mind off your sad situation....a hobby, a good book, a sport, a volunteer position, a fitness club or anything else that you have never tried. We've all been there...the hurt will fade.

The BeeGees sang that song in the eariy 70s. My boyfreind listened to that song all the time. Sometimes your heart mends itself.
