Apparently other people understand what I said, they are giving it TU's.. Maybe someone can explain it to me what I said, I might want to TU it too!! :)
Before we got all civilized and educated you could go to any land not clearly owned and marked as such and build a house right there claiming the land as your own. Now that just isn’t done unless you know how to get around all those lawyers and such. Where I’m at in NorthernCalifornia, I can start walking east or west and not cross a road or see another person for a hundred miles. Can’t build a house on it, and if I claim it for mining I have to fight with the BLM and their lawyers just to spade the dirt over. Ticks me off to no end.
