If you have been married many years, or living together, what do you think is the main thing holding you and your mate together this Valentine's Day? (Only the strong and the brave answer this).

My husband and I are soul mates.  Corny and true.  Peas in a pod.  Birds of a feather.  Yin and Yang...... it is almost sickening ..... super sappy.  Hearts, flowers and butterflies with a teddy bear on top. We hold hands but do not wear matching coats with our names on them. (One has to draw the line somewhere).

I don't know why but I always laugh when I see couples wearing matching jackets. It looks funny to me. (I usually make a wisecrack... "Hey look at those, I'm gonna git me 2 of them")
Not to their face, of course. lol

You would be busy laughing during tourist season here... especially on the ferry. Apparently this is a custom all around the world. :)

Fish Fry this is too fabulous! I love great couples! You are truly blessed and lucky. Like the millionaire matchmaker, Patti on tv always starts her show off with, "everybody wants love, but not everybody is lucky enough to find love." Sounds like soul mates to me, which I firmly believe in.

If you're a guy and married, it's often "CHEAPER TO KEEP HER!"   http://youtu.be/lKDc-euX7ws

i heard that before. good point!

We are the most important thing in each others lives and we show it everyday. God, am I lucky. There would be no point in getting up everyday if she were not here. It would be time for the "dirt nap".

ed that's what my father always said. He was building a house that we lived in. I asked him, "Dad, what would you do if something happened to Mom." He answer, "I would not put another nail in this house." My dad lived for my mom and still does. All he wanted to do was make mom happy. You sure are lucky!!

Probably dust! After discovering where it comes from!!!!!!!!!!!!

42 years I think we just go together now, neither one of us could manage without the other. Cause its a different sort of love really now that we are older, different from when we were teenagers.
