    A = 1/2 * b * h

    Or,

             b * h

     A =  --------

                2

    thank you

    The general form to calculate the triangle is:

    square root of (s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c))

    where, "s" is the semi-perimeter of the triangle = (a+b+c)/2

    and a,b and c are the sides of a given triangle.

    Other areas for special triangles are generalized form of this form.

    Hope this helped you to some extent.

    base x height

    then divide by two

    Answers are correct for right triangles and equallateral only.
