    when is the game of scrabble done?

    when is the game of scrabble done?  when all the tiles are gone out of the bag, and one player has used all of their tiles, right?  it doesnt matter the the other player has 4 tiles left right? or that they still can play? right?

    There are many ways you can play.  I think the rule is: Play until all the tiles have been taken. The first person to use all of his tiles AT THAT POINT, is the winner.  The other players can be given a chance to use their tiles. (Taking turns).  The point value of the tiles remaining are given to the winner along with some designated number of points for winning.
    If, after all the tiles are selected, no one can use all of his tiles, and you have used as many as you can, you could each add up the point value of the tiles you have.  The one with the lowest points could be declared the winner.  The difference of tile values from all the other players, less the value in the "winner's" tiles would be the winner's score.  No bonus for using all of his tiles.
