      I think Bill Murray got an Oscar for his part in the film ( not sure ) but it was an excellent film. Not an answer just an answer I suppose...KOTF.

        ROMOS - it is an answer and thank you - just love this film seen it so many times - have the DVD - and I think Bill Murray is great! Scarlett Johannson just adorable. I think the whole film was so sensitively written by Sofia Coppola. I think it got quite a few oscars too. It was on the TV and coincided with my internet going down.

          Thanks Ducky - amongst other things - internet connection down until two hours ago when engineer came - whole thing a nightmare with telephone company since Friday. Now Friday 10th Feb, so down since last Friday. First thing I Came to was here - hope you are well. I posted the "Lost in Translation" bit which seemed appropriate as I watched it at the time the internet went down just love this film. So kind of you.
