    Have you seen the TV show called Dance Mom?

    I have seen it and I think the teacher is abusive toward the little girl dancers. All those little girls need is a pole. From what I’ve seen of the show, the mothers just sit around and drink alcohol.


    Do you think this show represents child abuse?

      The way you are describing this program I would have to agree with you... I have not seen it as I work at night when my husband gets home... then it is studio time.  I will look this up.  Have you noticed that the programs that are on television seem to reflect a seriously warped way of life?... Honestly.  How did we become so sick?

          Oh it reminds me of that poor little girl who's Mom made her dress up like a woman with make-up etc. for those beauty contests.  She was killed.  The whole thing seemed sick.  Haven't seen the show.  Hate watching kids and animals be exploited!

            I know who you mean - Jean Binot Ramsey.(spelling) The mom died of Cancer several years after her daughter’s death. The dad dated a woman whose daughter had been killed in Aruba. Her last name was Hallowell.

            I believe this dance show is the worst thing I’ve ever seen for little kids. I have gone public with my thoughts. There weren’t near enough responses. (Page 1, Yahoo)

            The teacher needs a partner. She must be frustrated.

            This one may be the worst.  I don’t think akaQA people are much for TV. Good on them.  I have a little niche of programs that I watch and I don’t know much else about the TV world. I agree with you about the way of the world.
