Yes , I think a chat would help and would be great. It would be very busy and lively . I would love to meet my aka friends live in a chat ♥ ♥

akaQA.com is growing bigger and bigger every day and in a few months we will celebrate its first birthday on Feb 11, 2012. As a site with many registered members, we are constantly working on improving akaQA in order to make it as comfortable and accessible as possible for everyone. There are many things we can add to the site to make it better, and that’s where you come in!

If you have any ideas for how to improve akaQA, please share your thoughts with us. The more ideas, the better. We know that many of you have great ideas and some of you send them to us, but now we want everyone to know that these ideas are more than welcomed.

Well apparently you are the only one without a contact link mcm. Do you ever come back to read replies? I've been telling you for months and months where the contact link is. I've even posted a picture of it.

There are plenty of chat sites for those who wish to use them.  Keep AKAQA as at present.

Only down side is the danger it could end up like facebook(site not person)and that would not be very nice.

I suppose if you really wanted to chat you could always e-mail them, sure it wouldn't quite be the same as a chat , but none the less it would be effective..

I think an akaQA chatroom would be great. I used to almost live in a chat room so I have to be careful.  Laugh Laugh Laugh Laugh. We were going on a vacation to a cabin by a beautiful lake. I was so addicted to the place I had to give my mouse to my neighbor while I packed.

In this chatroom, we all knew each other by way of a writing class.  I am ADD so Chat is me.  : )

Read question is any one here opiniated look at people chatting to each other, do we need a specific chat page?.

I think lewboy and I are on the same track There are many conversations going on in the answers simply because we don't have a place to even say Hi itsmee or how are you tonight Fish Fry, It seems like people are a lot closer now laughing and joking with each other. It would even be a place to discuss questions quickly.

I have been informed that the development team is working on a chat feature. I'll message the admin to see where the team is on this project.

It would be like an IM, live chat. One chat room where you type what you want to say and post it and the people there, read it and respond.
