I have been trying to reach her by phone and e-mail but she does not answer the phone or reply to the e-mails. I did see her post one time here recently (about two weeks ago) but she's not been back since as far as I know.

That's something that I've never really thought about. I do a lot of different things and somehow assumed that people would eventually, just figure out that I'm a goner! Kind of like this...Hey, whatever happened to uh...er....WHACHAMACALLIT.....you know...that one that is always quackin' about something"? Oh yeah, I sorta remember that one...gone, I guess. :)

Ducky, you are certainly one of my favorite people. Often, you don't even post and answer of your own, but comments to many of the answers already there. I love that about you, and would very much miss that personal touch.

Ok I had a computer problem for the last ten days. I had to drop my internet service and hook up to cable. I’m much better off with this new arrangement but there are still a few bugs to work out. Getting my email address changed has been a drag. Other than that it’s ok and my OL has a nice new macbook and I have the old Macbook. a few more bugs, nothing to worry about.

Hi. I was "gone" for a week. After they discharged me from the hospital I had to return for an emergency procedure...and It has taken quite a bit of time for my body to restore it's cerebral spinal fluid- but my brain is afloat again!! and, like robert, I'm still having "cable issues"...I have missed you guys!

I hadn't thought about it, my husband hates me using the computer (don't know why, I only do it when he is watching inane shows on T.V) but it would be nice to know I would be noticed by my absence and hopefully he would, he does know I like this site.

A few months back when my computer was messed up, Fish Fry sent out the alarm and it really meant a great deal to me (people I don't even know expressing care and concern). I care about every person here, including the ones I don't agree with very often. I definitely want to be kept up to date on your well-being.
I feel like jhharlan about myself, though, and no one would report me MIA or DOA. If I chose to leave akaQA, I would say goodbye.

Hi Rick, good to hear the job is going well. I started working 1/2...am a tax return preparer and like what I'm doing. It's a great feeling to have a reason to get up and get going every day. It's only til mid April; so far, so good; our little office is really busy. "They" set my goal for the whole season at 50 returns. I am well beyond that and it's only 2/2. Makes a huge difference, even if other stuff continues to be less than optimal. Hang in there...I'm hoping life just keeps getting better for us. :D
