Cut out sugary snacks. Eat smaller meals without dessert after them. Get outside and play, walk, run, ride a bike. Do not sit for hours in front of a computer or TV. Drink lots and lots of water. Use 1% milk in your cereal. Fruits and veggies for in between meals. If you are the child, you should be able to lose the weight easily as a young active body burns fat more easily than an older body. Lose it now as it will get tougher to lose as you age. If you've not hit puberty yet, you may experience some weight loss from that.
