I don't hate Jewish people and I don't know anybody who does, I know a lot of people.......

Some people "hate" indiscriminately, by ethnicity, faith, race, profession, etc.  Those indiscriminate, stereotyping haters are ignorant.

Hitler hated the Jews and based his hate on the witings of Frierich Nietzche, but he probably never read them. Nietzche was very positive towards the Jews, but was against religion stating ' faith means not wanting to know what is true' . Jews were persecuted in Pogroms for centuries and were blamed for many things such as outbreaks of disease and natural disasters.

In any case, JC was born a Jew, lived a Jew, and died a Jew.

Not 2 years later. Seems that was her second answer here. I commented to her first one which did not get as many vote ups. I think my answer to her other answer about covers it.

Never Hate .A very hurtful word .They keep themselves to there own kind and are nice .I worked as a newsagent  paper boy .The old couple always very kind .Many a time had meals with them they asked my Mum first .yes mum said one less for me to feed and laughed with them.When I grew up met a few Jewish people all nice. never did see "Hate in there "eyes.

Maybe but facebook could have answered and said that 2 years ago. I have better things to do in life than rehash two year old answers.

I don't think Jewish people are hated - resented maybe as they are so prominent all over the world and do have their own culture which often segregates others but for the Orhtodox this is a requirement.

An Answer to an Anti-Semite

It's a free world. You don't have to like Jews if you don't want to, but if you are going to be an anti-Semite, you should be consistent and turn your back on the medical advances that Jews have made possible.

I am talking about the vaccine for hepatitis discovered by Baruch Blumberg, the Wasserman test for syphilis developed by August Von Wasserman, and the first effective drug to fight syphilis developed by Paul Ehrlich. Bela Schick developed the diagnostic skin test for diphtheria. Insulin would not have been discovered if Oskar Minkowski had not demonstrated the link between diabetes and the pancreas.

It was Burrill Crohn who identified the disease that bears his name. Alfred Hess discovered that vitamin C could cure scurvy. Casimir Funk was the first to use vitamin B to treat beriberi. Jonas Salk developed the first polio vaccine. Later, Albert Sabin developed the oral version.

Jews have also brought much joy to the world of entertainment: Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg, Gilda Radner, Dustin Hoffman, David Brenner, Jerry Lewis, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkle, Barry Manilow,  Natalie Portman, Carole King, The Marx Bros.Neil Diamond, George Gershwin, Warner Bros, Dinah Shore, The Coen Bros...There have also been Jewish athletes who have thrilled millions...Sandy Koufax, Hank Greenberg, Mark Spitz...

Hate. It should be on the list of other four letter words. Hate. It promotes a warfare like attitude. A word that was understood of as an extreme thought or feeling, has unfortunely become a word that is thrown around at random nowadays. A word that hurts someone down to the very soul. A word that should not be used lightly or possibly never at all. If we could take that word out of the equation and have a more enlightened conversation about differences, then an understanding of how ALL religions are connected would benefit mankind.

I don't see that in the question? Perhaps the akser is Jewish and wants to know why he/she is hated.

In certain cultures lets say Arab, just off the top of my head, it has been going on since the time of Abraham. Most of them don't like one another probably because of the disputes over ownership of the land in Israel.

I have always had good Jewish friends and I have asked this question to many.  I never really got a good answer and I still am looking for a good answer.  My mother gave me the Biblical view.  I hope we get some good answers on this site.  Maybe it innate just to be against somebody, particularly if they don't have everything you have at the moment.  I like this question.
