Does the Dura seal that they have for head gaskets really work?

I think I have a leak,I have to add anti freeze about every other day and I can't see any on the ground. I sure can't afford a new seal at like 800 to 1,000 bucks, this stuff is 90 bucks a bottle, just wondering if any one knew if the stuff works?

Sounds like an expensive long shot to me Rick. Do you have "Barrs Leaks" over there? It's cheaper (about 12 bucks) & will work for a while. I have used it myself in the past to tide me over.

PS,what colour is your oil? If it looks milky, that's where your anti freeze is going.
