I just went to the store. My total was $10.25 and that is what I gave the clerk. He handed me $5.00 and said thank you. What would you do?

As the old adage says ' Honesty is the best policy'  -- what goes around ,comes around.  the moral here is to hand back the mistake, i know you will do the just thing, Jules.

I'd likely buy some cat food...really...you should see the way they look at me with those round green blinkers framed by fluffiness..unless I was blessed with affluence whereby I'd kick back the fiver but you must agree that intent is everything and they are after all...cats!!!Peace.

That would depend if the store was an independent owner operator with a mortgage and being run with marginal profits,or a multi-national affiliated with large banks sucking greedy profits from the community,if the latter keep the change an do your bit to ensure fairer distribution of wealth.

Are you a socialist? A member of the wall street gang who believe they should have everything for free too?

Colleen Amazing! how socialism and capitalism can be spoken in the same breath what's next totalitarianism not everyone has to be placed in one of those boxes that allow the orator to suit their feelings of importance, perhaps one should allow some spare time to engage in some free thinking attitude, which allows one to approach from a fresh direction, but alas! for most that is a barrier that is insurmountable

Perspectives. We're all allowed to have them. You're not much for having an open mind are you? Between this and attacking me for my beliefs, you're sure showing you're a person with insurmountable issues. My perspective is you think it's OK to take just because someone else has more. Socialism, not capitalism. The wealthy are suppose to take care of the poor. You would keep the money and distribute the wealth. Socialism, not capitalism. Got it?

you are very much in need of attention therapy whilst being overwhelmed by the feeling of your own importance you ignore the subject matter and waffle on like someone looking for a hamburger shop that is just around the corner, but thinks they need a road map to get there,my mind is always open to intelligent debate and fair exchange sadly views expressed by your comments fall along way short of the mark and to continue this exchange would do nothing to alleviate the exasperation felt from communicating with a self perpetuating answering machine complete with ego..

Did you know that run on sentences can actually "wind" the person reading them? Bet you didn't know that. I feel it is my duty to let you know since you are so good at them. You just get on these rants of jumbled insults and then try to call them "intelligent debate and fair exchange". You actually ended this one with mentioning my ego. Really cucumber? Have you checked yours lately? Check your temper while your at it.
By the way, this is exactly why I chose not to discuss my beliefs with you. I'd rather not have to read all the rest of the insults over flowing inside you. Go vomit them on the person you're really angry with.

You know nothing about retail cucumber. This is a ludacrous answer... simply unrealistic on so many levels.
You are in the mood to poop on others....

Wow. Really? You steal and have a good conscious about it? It's your responsibility to be responsible. I truly hope you're a child and these are not your life's values that you will pass onto your kids someday.
