What are your thoughts on docking puppies?

20 years ago we had Dobermanns(lovely dogs!) all three had been docked before we owned them but if id had the choice id have preferred them complete.What do you think?

It's just as sick as the parents who have their young babies ears pierced because they think the baby looks cute. I've watched a perfectly calm/happy baby crying uncontrollaby when the needle was pushed through the ear. .All this torture because an idiotic parent without a lick of common sense, head stuck way up his/her ass wants their little baby to look cute!

Poor babies and poor animals for the unnecessary pain they have to endure at the hands of the people who claim to love them.

Agree with you CB!! Dont like to see young children with pierced ears either.Isnt there something about it being illegal to pierce the ears of a minor????Thats just come into the back of my mind so dont quote me on it.....

Good point, but I suppose the same principle should apply to circumcision.

One is to pretty up a child the other is health or religious reasons.
