what do you mean by THEY in your question? This is hypothetical and subject to anyone's imagination. So I'd say nothing will happen to religion. God is truth and ultimate intelligence.

I think to some aliens are a religion,sorry but god is of the highest intelligence and aliens only exist in misguided minds as well as pheonix..

I believe In God that created every thing in,than there is a devil or Satan by name. Have you not been tautgh/? scripture taught that His duty was to deceive the whole world by His cunning and Aliens deception You need to studied the scripture and not get wrap up in His Pheonix stuff to fool you in other crap  In the scripture has forward that the whole world will be deceive by His magic powers given for a short time.Do not let him still your believe,only fool will fall in this trap I't is we that being put through the test of time,And keeping God close to your hearth..

It looks like someone's been watching Ancient Aliens on History Chanel. To tell you the truth that theory does hold some water and I believe it will be much, much more widely accepted in the not so distant future.

On the other hand there is nothing you could tell a believer who has prayed and received answers to many prayers their entire lives that their faith or God isn't real. Honestly I can't tell you what God is or who He looks like, but I know Jesus is real and nothing could ever change my mind. It's just the fact that I time and time again God has answered my prayers and I have seen a miracle with my mom recovering from cancer, etc. etc.

So to me it wouldn't change anything, probably the same to anyone who has had similar experiences... Great question though, thumbs up...
