Probably best to consult your doctor, he can then order tests, xrays etc to determine if there is any damage or deterioration, he can also prescribe medication to help you manage the pain. I have just completed a series of 5 minor back operations, I didn't need time off work and it helped tremendously. But start with your doctor who may then refer you to the most appropriate help.
