"Foundered" (got sick on it),  "got ill" (angry),  "a poke" (a bag or a sack),  "they're proud of it" (something overpriced),  "protane" (propane gas),  "Cuz" ( a good friend)  "Gonna  eat a bean"  (time for lunch),  "goin' to the house" (going home),  "layin' out", (calling in sick to work),  "God bless him" (usually means "I feel a little sorry for him"),  "your big" ( significant other),  "holler at me", (call if you need my help),......just to name a few that I can come up with that I hear at work everyday.  Not at home, but at work.   Has become endearing to me now,  after so many years working with really good people,  just raised differently. :->      There will probably be more to come, couldn't think of a tremendous number of them at one time..
