Snow LOOKS nice.But I hate the cold.

We had about 2 inches this morning Almost all gone now. It's very windy.  All the people around here who depend on snow for their business are not happy. I live in SW Michigan , so the tubing parks and ski slopes are hurting. It's not cold enough to make snow! We will probably get it all at once.

A total of four inches here in west texas, It was so beautiful how it just slowly fell and collected on the branches. All gone now.

I always worry about the kids having to drive here. Scares the hell out of me till their all here. I remember seven or eight years ago we got snowed in and the roads were impassable for four days. We literally ran out of food. Had about twenty five people here. Luckily my neighbor has chickens so breakfast wasn't an issue. We were seriously considering "Bambie". My son took the snowmobile to town and picked up a few things and ran out of gas half way back. Some locals took him in for the duration of the storm. A bad time indeed. We still talk about it every year.

Maybe you don't have snow, but here in Maine we do. Luckily it's only about 4 inches, although farther up north they have 8-10 inches. I seem to have lost my enthusiasm for snow when I started to have to dig out in order to get to work.

Maybe just on Christmas Day, not before, not after.

Midland Texas close to where i live has had 20 inches snow so far .  That just does not happen. George Bush"s fault global warming. Oh, thats his home town.

In NH. where I live, we always have lots of snow. Around this time we usually have already a total snow fall of 30-40 inches. Exept for the October snowstorm, we only had a dusting . But today we had freezing rain and then snow, not very much either. The lake has a thin sheet of ice. We can usually walk on the lake around this time. This is an unusual winter, and have not seen a winter like that in 30 yrs..

I think the only reason I like snow is because I didn't have it growing up. I'm sure if I moved to a snowy area it would get old after a few years.

No snow here for Christmas, if it did i would know for sure there was a hole in the Ozone Layer. but i love  snow, whilst in Edinburgh visiting the in-laws, two days after Christmas i saw my first snow and falling too, the neighbours must have thought another crazy Aussie as it was morning and i woke up to it, i went outside and stood there with the snow falling on me, wearing only boxer shorts and a T shirt. ( i was a big kid at 56 years young).

I miss snow but I don`t like to fall or slide on ice.

We had 10 inches come down overnight. Definitely glad I have a snowblower, it makes short work of it!
