You've sipped the nog, eaten too much, and watched the little ones open their gifts.  Which gift did YOU receive that meant the most / you liked the best?

A mass was said for my family and me. That means the most to me.

I'm not an expert on all religions. But theres only one that I can think of that has mass. So you might be Sister Bob.

A visit from my daughter and her husband from Texas, and she's expecting.  Couldn't have asked for more.

Stuff I bought for myself. I was worth every cent. Mostly car stuff.

I got myself a couple of nice things, too. Do you think that's what most people do? I mean, I'm at the store.....

Everyone does it, they just don't admit it. Looks like were the only two truthful people here.

My daughter brought me rocks for my garden from Arizona.

Where do YOU live? Are the rocks large, or more pebbly in size?
    witchway

Bob/PKB, I live in Connecticut. The rocks are about hand size. I like to collect different rocks from all my friends and family and from my own travels. My gardens are my connection to all I love. The smaller "pebble sized" stones I keep in a cauldron!

I wish I could send you the book “Everybody Needs A Rock”

I called my dad, I should email him, and spoke with my sister.  James and I got another dog the day after. James got me gads of kitchen stuff which I liked. He loved my gift to him (other than the socks and underwear) but I can't write what it was down here..........

Gotcha on the nameless gift....think we discussed that the other day. :D

JH: You are such a sweeheart. Ok then we're going to guess what ...... a tie ? . a tire, a wrench ? ... Am I getting close ? Hmmmmmmmm. Come on .. we won't tell.

Its about the season and family.  Thats the best gift there is.

Lovely answer, pioneer2. (by the way, where is pioneer1?).
I am not Catholic, but a friend offered the mass for me and that gesture of care and love overwhelmed me. :D

Bob/: thats a thoughtful friend indeed. Pioneer1 settled early America. I'm just trying to carry on in my own little way.

catching up with family, did the whole visit on the way down the coast, then on to my daughters, she took me to see another property she wants to buy, right on the beach, it was 2 houses, on one really big block ,, she wants me to have the front cottage and be near her, lovely.
