I was going to say the same thing. Here we get snow about 3-4 times through te winter and it ususally melts away in a week.

They think Canadians live in Igloos ? ! Where'd they get that ? I live near Canada, and I know that the culture and climate in many parts of Canada is like the States. I've heard them called Ski-doo here in the states too. In northern Mich, they drive snowmobiles around---from one bar to the other. Yes I remember my visit to Scotland Bag Pipes and Sheep, (only joking) really enjoyed it and the views are probably the best in the UK.

Jh, I wrote essentially the same thing.That's why so many foreigners have come here.....to make the big money adn have the big house and car....and to send their kids to college. I think that dream is over now, tho' . Sad

I live in an inner suburb & I have seen a wallaby & a Koala in my street.(at different times).They were both refugeees from a nearby nature reserve tho & I have lived here for 20 years & they are the only wildlife sightings.
Oh,I once had a carpet python in my back yard.
