I think a lot of people are really really tight n $- I am. "BUT MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, CHRISTMAS DOESN'T COME IN A BOX" (from the Grinch who stoled christmas) and HOPEFULLY folks who can't give a "box" can get down to the true meaning of Christmas! The birth Of a Savior is the BIGGEST gift of all! If theat's not for you then be kind, be loving, and forgive someone! Those, too, are precious gifts!

That is a very nice gift..  I know I would be tickled pink to have one...

To answer your question.... I had some never rot door frames in my shed (unopened/unused) that I took back to home dept.... They have been sitting in the shed for 5 years. I got $109.00 for their return. That is all I had for hubbys Christmas, and I had to use it at Home depot becuase it was issued as a gift cert.

SO.... Daughter got Daddy and portable lithium phone charger.

Son got him a 60 dollar flash light.

I got him a stupid tool box for his wire nuts and such. He liked it last time we were there together... But he desevrse SO MUCH better!

Because of life things, no Christmas shopping yet, Dec. 22nd will be shop till you drop day, 17 on our list.

    Wish us luck......

    good luck Randy

If I HAD a spouse or significant other, a weekend together at the coast in a cozy B/B

    itsmee

My favorite place on the coast is Moro Bay. Go on a week day, it's really inexpensive. I used to live there. Boo Hoo. It's a real fishing village. On the weekend EVERYONE from Fresno descends on the town but on the week days it's deserted. Oh so nice.

Morro Bay is always an enjoyable place for me. Many years ago, my kids and I got a place at Cayucos for $160/week. We had a great time, mostly in MB every day. The sand dollars were thick one day....we must have collected 300 or more; spent one day at the zoo in Atascadero; it was a great week for the four of us, as I recall (they have their own memories, of course). Their father/my husband didn't want to come with us...the only disappointment of the week (he was always good at disappointing me, as apparently vice versa).

O how nice that would be Kudos to you

    A new kitchen...hope he's grateful!

    NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING

I did buy my Girlfriend a set of diamond earrings and a diamond necklace, The question was spouce me not married Ha Ha LOL

He got me a brand new electric can opener. I nearly threw my shoulder out of joint with our "antique" can opener.  I'm happy. I'm still expecting some Lavanilla fragrance.

I'm going to get him a pair of pants. I was going to get him a shirt because he always wears the same ones. I looked in his closet ... he has many shirts that he's "saving" No new shirts for him!

    Bob/PKB

I think it's at Bed, Bath, & Beyond or that other bed/bath store (?) in Fresno....a can opener for $20 that is battery operated, and truly automatic. All you do is position the top of the can in the opener's groove and push the "start". It's perfect for people with arthritis and a time/space saver for everyone....it fits in the palm of your hand, easily into a drawer.
