    what is the proper level of humidity in your house?

    I think between 40-50% humidity is comfortable.

    Really! in the winter here your heating system takes alot of the humidity out of houses. Your sinuses become too dry. Static electricity becomes a problem. In the summer we need a dehumidifier and in the winter a humidifier

    It depends on what time of year.  At the 'mo' the humidity sits at 91% outside and we are dry inside... Yay!  Our roof is doing it's job.
