Several years ago, I worked with a guy who used permanent markers.  Sometimes he needed to "erase" the marker.  The way he did it was by writing over the marker with the marker and then wiping the whole thing while the new mark was still wet.  Try it on a small area that never shows if you can.  I wouldn't want to make it worse!

Try nail varnish remover if the floor isn,t varnished.

Try rubbing alcohol. I know it takes out ball point pen ink.....

How old are the marks? How large? Is the floor varnished/lackered/oiled/raw? Is the wood stain (what color), or natural? Depending on your answer I may give you some advice which will not be easy over akaQA.

My strong advice I can give you now is to replicate the marks on a piece of the floor you should have saved after its installation and take it to Home Depot or Lowes and ask their experts.

Ity's a tricky job and unless not done properly you may make it much worse.
