I lost my cat Lucky more than 5 years ago and I think of him all the time. I also had to put my dog Chester to sleep, almost 1 week ago. The grieving is the same as when a family member dies, sometimes even more so. Like michmar said, there are countless animals out there who are looking for someone to love them. It would be a beautiful, new beginning. Much love, Ann

Losing a pet is always so hard.  But time heals all wounds, some take longer than others. Meanwhile, there is another cat out there just waiting to be loved by you. It won't replace Sky, but will fill some of the empty...........

  DEMESHIA I have cats and when you loose any animal its hard and I mean very Hard ..... but you must move on now and I dont mean for you to forget SKY you will never forget but there are pleanty of cats who love to come and live with you and share all that love you have to give dont mourn anymore get another cat that needs all that love you can give

I totally understand that emptiness, the incredible missing of your beloved friend. And most likely, they  have left this world, and especially if  they are animals, it is for the better for their sake in this cruel world..  You will see him/her again, at the right time, for a tremendous, joyous reunion!  Look forward to that!   In the meantime, countless number of animals need loving homes NOW.  Help them and love them until you see your beloved again,....they need you.....they need us.  And your dearly missed pet will be especially glad that you did, for your own sake and that of the animals you love! :-}

Sorry you have been grieving for so long,it is heart breaking to lose a pet,especially when they are missing.All you can really do is to accept that Sky is no longer around,and keep in mind that you showed him love and care whilst he was with you.

Hi Dementia,(Just kidding,I can't help myself). If he was a "complete" cat I bet he comes back one day. You hear these stories all the time about cats that go missing & then turn up out of the blue.(No pun intended,Sky). Oh OK the pun was intended,I hope it cheered you up.
