No it is not true!  It is just another one of those "Hollywood Rumors" that will not go away.

If you really have a true or false question on ANY topic check out Snopes.com

Yes it is. It's quite amazing that stuff gets passed around the internet, people comment on it and get all riled up and then when you check snopes, it's false and been circulating for 8 years! lol

No very likely, but they should the price they charge.

$5 worth of pong , $3 worth of glass, Hey guys lets make this glass into a fancy bottle, shove  the pongy stuff in it and we will make a fortune.

itsmee - don't be so deprecating I am sure it does not have diamond dust in it and talking of bed my lie lie is well overdue I have been up all night on this. I have White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor whom I almost met in California - too tired to go wish I had now.

She's not being depreciating, she's being humorous. Depreciating would be the wrong word to use anyway. Sarcasm would work better if she was coming from that side but she's not, it humor. Lighten up, have some fun.

    WHAT?????????????

I would think even dust would be abrasive. I know that even super small fibers of fiber glass is very annoying and that used to be the old school way of making inching powder. I’m not saying that diamond dust would be the exact same way however what purpose would diamond dust have on a scent? and you sure would not want to spray it on the face to make it glitter that is for sure. I would have to say no.
