Endorphin: A hormonal compound that is made by the body in response to pain or extreme physical exertion. Endorphins are similar in structure and effect to opiate drugs. They are responsible for the so-called runner's high, and release of these essential compounds permits humans to endure childbirth, accidents, and strenuous everyday activities.

EXERCISE!!..RUNNING..SWIMMING CYCLING ANYTHING THAT GIVES YOU AN ADRENALINE RUSH..WILL INCREASE YOUR BRAINS UPTAKE OF ENDORPHINES(feel good hormones),..YEP SEX WILL NO DOUBT DO IT TOO!lol!!...But regular exercise and healthy eating...sometimes the receptors in your brain aren`t able to transmit endorphines properly to the brain..which can leave you feeling in a low mood state...sometimes anti-depressents are prescribed by GP to give the endorphines an extra push thus increasing your mood..but unless you are clinically depreesed I`d give the EXERCISE a go first..I swear you`ll see a difference!...stick that ipod on and run!!LOL!
all good wishes,Millie
