    Why does mineral water that has trickled through mountains for centuries have a use by date?

    It goes flat... loosing it's ability to be round.

    I think its the bottles they put it in that expires! Some bottles are made of nasty crapola!

    So the bottlers can sell more?

    Stationary water goes stale or flat as FG said. 

    perhaps the mountains should have a used by date...

    Plastic puts a nasty chemical into the water. It's better not to drink anything that is in plastic.

    Good grief.......

    The same reason pure bottled water has a list of ingredients
