One Christmas my sister was in charge of preparing and tossing the salad.
When served, my Aunt had the pleasure of biting into my sisters ARTIFICIAL NAIL that she lost during the tossing.

OK.....Here's the story that goes along with Colleen's photo.
When my youngest son was about 6, he spent the night at his friend's house. It was the holiday season, and his family had a 20+ foot tall tree gracing their living room. The two boys slept on the couch, and about 3 AM, the friend heard their little kitten meowing. The kitten was in the tree.
"Don't worry," the friend told my son. "I'll get her." With that, the boy started up the tree. Of course, just past mid-way, the imbalance caused it to fall over with a very loud crash. The parents came running from their room, followed by the not-much-older sister. My son was laughing his head off.
The friend poked his head out from under the branches and held up the cat. "I got her!"

When my brothers were little and my older brother woke up early and switched all the toys to his side of the tree and left my younger brother with all the socks and underwear! My Mom and Dad had some fast explaining to do to de-escalate the situation. It's been a family funny even to this day.
