Join a choir, record and play-back your own music and record a sing-along with yourself. Get better recording equipment with tone control and a track recorder. Get professional help when you can. Attend college classes on music theory, composition and vocal range, build your own sound studio and take a course in legalities for artists. Make appointments with artist, song writers, educators in the field and executives in the industry to get their opinion on what they like to hear and see …ask questions and know about a person who you are going to interview before asking your questions. Get friends to work with you so you don’t have to do all the work and share results. Have fun and make what you are doing fun and happy for everyone. Don’t hog the limelight, no one stands alone so give everyone involved credit…they all got you where you are.
