I followed Umbriel's logic up until the last sentence, because the items would already have been on the stage, but the logic makes sense.
Why wouldn't it be narration? It could be narration. The narrator is describing the setting for something, in a timeline order.
Why wouldn't it be comparison? There is nothing being compared.
Why wouldn't it be time order? It could be....it is giving a blow-by-blow recitation.
Why wouldn't it be description? There is nothing really being "described". It seems more a summary of action........UNLESS it is being narrated!
