He was truly brilliant.  He wrote the most amazing an humorous novels for all ages.  Just read one book and you will know.

Now deceased, Roald Dahl is remembered for writing such classic children's literature as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "James and the Giant Peach", "Danny, the Champion of the World", and several others. The first two are practically required reading at the elementary level.   The hero of each story is incredibly easy to "relate to" and lone can earn about human behavior in an exciting, unique setting.   GOOD READS!

He was a second world war fighter pilot ,his family, granddaughter Sophie as recently asked for half a million pounds to be donated to them to pay for the moving and preservation of the shed were he wrote his stories in their back garden . Rather cheeky I would say as they are loaded

He was a prolific writer/author; very creative, very humorous, clean, interesting and fun to read. My daughter loved him as a child, I love him as an adult, still.
