If he is happy and enjoying it, I don't see a problem, there are a lot worse things he could be doing. My son when he was little took a dolly everywhere, hubby was horrified, I couldn't see a problem until one day he ripped up his shirt and told me he was breastfeeding, I turned to find his sister standing at the checkout with half a muskstick up each nostril, still not sure which was worse

It is the "uniform" of the dancer. Do you find it odd that football players wear such skin-tight pants (and pat each other on their firm little butts?). Baseball players in a heap of testosterone after winning a championship series?
Dance is very, very athletic. Balance, strength, endurance, gymnastic, poise, acting.....
Encourage him in his "sport" and be thankful he has something he loves that is healthy (and legal).

I wonder if Patrick Swazey and John Travolta's parents were worried about their lads love of dance.
I find the singlets worn by wrestlers and the Gangstra pants worn by so many to be much more offensive and worrisome. As well as the short shorts worn by some school volleyball teams.
Don't sweat the uniform, be proud of the dedication. Dance is not easy,

My 14-year old grandson is dancing the lead role (young prince) in the Nutcracker Ballet in Chicago next month. He's been dancing since he was about 7. None of us are worried about a single thing. We're just thrilled that he has found his passion at such a young age. How many of us do?? He wants to be a professional dancer when he grows up. Good for him!
