    Area of a rectangle:   A = L * W

    A = 60ft.^2

     L = 12ft.

     W = ?

    So, work backwards. 60ft.^2/12ft. = 5ft. or think: 12ft. * 5ft. = 60ft.^2

    The answer is 5ft.
