The dealer swung you around then let you go. you assumed a pose. Then someone else could buy you. It was fun getting dizzy! You could think up someone you were supposed to be.

Dressing up was really fun. I used to have pictures of my friend and I in old flapper clothes! Alas a fire got the pictures!

clu I do not know what "old flapper" is but I remember once or maybe more than once being told by my friends - once when trying to walk in these high heels I had that I looked like an "old slapper" of course cigarette in tow as well shame to say.

All of the above but one in particular was we would divide into teams and get on either side of the road and when a car was coming, we act like we were stretching a rope across yelling, "Pull, Pull!". The car was supposed to stop and ask what we were pulling and we'd tell him we were pulling his leg......

We used to make camps as well... One year my dad bought a big old army surplus tent... That was a great summer. We also taught our dog how to jump through hoops... My mother stopped us when we wanted him to jump through fire!
